When scoring hit a problem on the way back, a completed practice session could be thrown away — after several seconds of waiting and three wasted retries.

• A session that cannot be scored right away is now held as pending instead of discarded, so your work is not lost.
• Failures that will not succeed on a retry are no longer retried three times before giving up.
• Scores are read correctly even when the response comes back with extra text around it, which previously failed the whole session outright.
